Bitcoin, What Problem Does It Solve?
What if there was a way to absolutely, 100% trust a transaction. You sold your most prized possession to a buyer in Nigeria. You wrapped it with love, packaged it for its long journey from your nearest post office and the buyer in Nigeria sent you the money.
Not only do you have a smile on your face, you know 100% you got the money. The buyer will not be able to call his/her bank and say, “I didn’t make that transaction”.
You got the money, and it’s 100% YOURS.
This is one of the key problems bitcoin solves, it makes you unafraid and trust doing business with the most populous African country.

It does this in an innovative way, by making it easy to prove a digital fake. This means in the new era, a digital version of your driver's license CANNOT be faked. Your passport CANNOT be faked. In its grandest scale, it means your VOTE, CANNOT be faked or uncounted.
The method it usings to solve this problem is called blockchain. An unbreakable chain of transactions from the 1st bitcoin transaction ever made, a transaction made just now.

no one owns the blockchain, no one controls the blockchain. It’s a system of computers that run the show.
It can be your “computer”, your neighbor's computer, your uncle Rodney’s or a sister in Liberia's “computer”.
They all compare transaction logs with each other. If for some reason, your computer picks up a fake transaction (someone made a digital copy of your driver's license for example), your computer will compare this with other computers and realize, it’s transaction log is wrong, it will then ditch that log, and copy the log of the other computers. This keeps the system constantly in sync. To shut it down would mean, you'd have to shut down all the computers in the world that are doing that.
China could prevent its citizens from doing that, but that doesn't mean Jamaica will. Venezuela could do that, but that doesn't mean Japan will. Some country will find benefit in this new faster, cheaper, borderless system of transacting.
Now you may ask, “wait, why would I let my computer run all day, night and pay that electricity?”

How to participate in a Book ICO?
To participate in a Book ICO you'll need to create a wallet and buy PBL, which is the currency used on Publica’s platform, as well as ETH tokens to pay the transaction fee.
When the Book ICO campaign is running and you have your PBL tokens, click the "Buy BOOK token" button and follow this tutorial.
You will receive a BOOK token (or several tokens) that are your access keys to the book's contents and you'll be able to read the book on your Android or iOs device, and send the book to your friends, or even sell a book on a secondary market.
