Common Sense 2018 - The Global Discussion on America Using Vintage Art Media and Blockchain

Author

Gregory Adkins

It looks like an e-book, but it's an e-hive. A digital asset with museum quality images, short text and social media links — all on the blockchain. You are investing $22.50 to deliver a way to end the NFL Take-a-Knee Protest. This is the first rare digital asset designed for the blockchain. The e-hive is handmade and includes 200 rare collectible images valued at $2,000. But, it's priced so everyone can join the global conversation.
Dr. King said, “You deplore the demonstrations taking place in Birmingham, but fail to express concern for conditions that brought on the demonstrations.”
It's simple. The NFL players believe in social justice and want a national conversation, with measured progress, in order to stop the protest. These are professional athletes, not consultants or journalist. You are supporting a modern tool built to enable a global conversation, and approach for measuring engagement.
The supply is limited,  and price of the token automatically climbs to $44.50 at the end of the initial offering period. More importantly, the blockchain version is designed to create an ecosystem of people that collaborate to create new products.
Common Sense 2018 is the rare gift worth giving - it's limited to 100,000 copies for 8 billion people. (Only 25,000 available under this project.) We'll teach you blockchain, but if you are over 70 years old, and need it simple, use the website for the non-blockchain abridged version. Thanks for supporting the mission - the power of change is you! It's your turn to help deliver on the promise that is America.

About Book

Genre: Journalism , Picture book
Language: English
Planned publishing date: 21.09.2018
Social Media talks about it, pastors pray about it, and community across America are tired of it - a divided America. Common Sense 2018 is where foundations, communities and businesses, and you come together for the first national conversation since Thomas Paine 1776. We're activating citizenship and revitalizing American collaboration. You are funding a digital storytelling opportunity, which creates a single voice for professional athletes and communities. In 1776 Thomas Paine created a voice for the people, which led to America's independence.

Thomas Paine wrote Common Sense 1776, saying “in the best days politics is but a necessary evil; and in its worst state, an intolerable situation”.
America 2018 is in the worst-case scenario. Our generation learned that politics not defined by core values is just religion or at worst mind control. Thomas used a pamphlet and Gutenberg printing press; this solution uses vinatge art, blockchain, and social media. Now it's time to work together to update the story around your voices.  - Greg Adkins

This offering is for Volume 2 of a three-part national discussion: Politics, Economics and Race (PEAR). This is the first rare digital asset made for the internet and blockchain, it's priced to engage you in a modern process buy one & gift many. If you believe PEAR matters follow the Twitter feed and Facebook Page. Thanks for caring!

Chapter - Sports and Entertainment 1940 - 1970

PEAR uses short structured sentences with social hashtags wrapped around a generation of museum quality images. There's one lead-in page to a complete first of kind visual story. An excerpt of text from the Chapter 8, supported by images from Sports and Entertainment 1940 - 1970

Why the Knee Protest

"The less transparent government becomes, the more predictable are the actions and results."
President Theodore Roosevelt would call it the “Duties of American Citizenship”. Where citizens are active and expected to create civic awareness to engage others in collective social impact. People have been #TakeTheKnee or doing other types of awareness activities for generations. Professional athletes are creating awareness for #AmericanCoreValues and #SocialJustice. Players are following a long history of those in sports and entertainment that came before them, and are using their personal platforms for social good.
One election can’t redefine #Americanism. Athletes kneeling export the very definition of America - freedom. Fighting to maintain that freedom depends on understanding Politics, Economics and Race (PEAR). This e-Hive uses rare art images and social media to share the past and teach communities how to heal and shift. It’s a platform for both athletes and the nation.
Sadly, since the 1960s, politics have been used to divide and reduce the power of modern communities and states. As A.I. and generated images become indistinguishable from human interaction things will get worst. Common Sense 2017 Volume 1, years 1650 - 1940, shared ways to rebalance the party systems. Today, just like 1861 America’s is divided over wealth. Division used to deflect the conversation. While the Electoral College designed by southern plantation owners, keep division and hate alive.

What is a Book ICO?

Book ICO is the next generation way to kick-start books — authors publish their way.

ICO’s took 2017 by storm. Publica Book ICO’s are the next generation crowdfunder-plus-presale for ebooks where authors are free to publish their way.

Authors — You set your own prices for during and after your Book ICO. When your book is a recognized token on a blockchain you’re selling book tokens directly to your followers who support you and look forward to the promised release.

Presale funds can improve the quality of independently published books. Or publicize great books that might never find their true audience without it.Your book tokens work anywhere in the world on any iOS or Android device.

Readers — When you buy a book token, that’s your private access key to read the book in your Publica reader app available now for iOS and Android phones and tablets. Many Chromebooks too.

You can also send book tokens to other people, unlike any conventional ebook. So buy as many book tokens as you want!

You can also sell recognized book tokens on a secondary token exchange so depending on the total circulation of a book’s tokens, tokens in your wallet may grow in value if the book becomes collectable.

What are you waiting for? Oh, the countdown clock...

  • Why do you need cryptocurrencies and blockchain?

By using cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology we can now introduce immediate and direct transactions between authors and readers, bring trust and transparency into the ecosystem as well as give authors tools to set up their own business models by using smart-contracts. This allows authors to sell directly to their readers at an unprecedented and scalable level.

With no middleman, authors are in full control of their author business. Blockchain empowers authors by placing them at the heart of the financial model.
